On Saturday, December 1st, the Robbinsdale Fire Department hosted its annual Children's Christmas Party. The afternoon was packed with fun, laughter, entertainment and a special visit from Santa Claus. And just like last year, all the children let Santa know that they have been especially good this year! 🚒

Today, the Robbinsdale Fire Department hosted multiple scouts from the Northern Lights Scout District based at Fort Snelling, MN. The scouts and their parents were given a guided tour of the department, its apparatus and a lesson on fire safety by FF/Inspector Matt Olson and FF Ciaran Murtagh.

The Robbinsdale Fire Department was excited to be in attendence at the garland cutting ceremony at Thomas Hollingsworth Park last evening. This park, which is dedicated to the memory of Robbinsdale Firefighter Thomas Hollingsworth (LODD), will be undergoing reconstruction efforts over the next year.

Thank you to the families and organizations that are engaged in this beautification process.

Congratulations to Robbinsdale Fire Department Firefighter Mark Krause for his successful completion and certification as a Fire Apparatus Operator (FAO) this weekend! The extensive class had 34 candidates from Brooklyn Center, Golden Valley,Maple Grove, Plymouth and Robbinsdale Fire Departments. All Passed. Thank you to Maple Grove Fire for sponsoring this certification class.

The Robbinsdale City Council on July 17 approved the purchase of the new pumper engine that the fire department had scheduled in the 2013 city capital improvement plan.

The Robbinsdale Fire Department would like to remind everyone of the upcoming Robbinsdale Fire and Police Open House on Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 11am to 3pm.

Some of the events of the day will include: Antique Fire Truck Rides, Children's Bounce House, Live Room and Contents Fire Demonstrations, Kitchen Fire Simulator, Live Vehicle Extrication Demonstrations and many other fun and educational activities.
