Our thoughts and prayers are with the family who experienced this tragic loss. We are thankful to be part of the MABAS group and assist the surrounding communities.

At approximately 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, the River Falls Fire Department was dispatched by St. Croix County Dispatch to a reported barn fire near County Road M in the Town of Kinnickinnic.

Fire crews arrived to a barn fully engulfed in heavy fire and smoke. Firefighters immediately began suppression efforts and worked diligently to bring the fire under control. Due to the extent of the fire, additional mutual aid resources were requested to assist with firefighting operations.

Crews remained on scene until approximately 6:12 a.m. to complete extinguishment and overhaul operations.
At approximately 6:38 a.m., River Falls Firefighters were dispatched back to the scene for a small rekindle. Firefighters responded promptly and quickly extinguished the additional fire. All units were cleared and returned to service at approximately 7:14 a.m.

There were no injuries to fire personnel or civilians reported during this incident.

Today marks one year since we lost our dear friend and fellow firefighter and EMT, Linda Hall.

Linda was more than a member of the Roberts–Warren Fire Department — she was family. Her dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment to serving others left a lasting impact on our department and our community. She carried herself with strength, kindness, and a smile that could brighten even the hardest days.

Though she is no longer with us, her legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the service she gave, and the memories we hold close.

We honor her today and every day.

Forever in our hearts. ❤️🔥

🚒 Training Night 🚒

Our members spent the evening training with Rescue Struts, specialized stabilization tools used during rescues involving vehicles, machinery, and other heavy objects. These tools help keep scenes stable and safe while firefighters/EMS work to free victims.

Regular training like this ensures our crews are ready when the call comes in.

Train. Prepare. Protect. 💪👨‍🚒
