Congratulations, Maycie!

We are excited to officially announce that Maycie has been selected as our newest Shift Supervisor at Baldwin Central!

Recently, our Center completed our Shift Supervisor promotional process, which included testing, an outside interview panel, and practical exercises designed to challenge our candidates and evaluate their knowledge, leadership, decision-making, and ability to lead our team through the everyday challenges of 9-1-1.

Maycie has continued to grow throughout her career at Baldwin Central, taking on additional responsibilities and stepping into leadership roles along the way. We are excited to see her take this next step and continue growing as a leader within our Center.

Becoming a Supervisor is about much more than a new title. It means taking on greater responsibility for your team, being willing to make the difficult decisions, supporting your people when they need you, representing our Center at special events, training with our neighboring agencies, filling in when extra staffing is needed on the dispatch floor, and helping lead our Center forward as Baldwin County continues to grow.

We are proud of Maycie for accepting that challenge and look forward to seeing everything she brings to this new role.

Baldwin Central would like to wish our favorite Southern Software guru, Jason Love, a very Happy Birthday!

Jason, we truly appreciate everything you do for our Center. Thank you for always being just a phone call away, for letting us bounce ideas off of you, and for being willing to troubleshoot problems and brainstorm all of our “fancy dispatch ideas.” Your knowledge, patience, and understanding of the dispatch world mean more to our team than you probably realize.

It’s always nice working with someone who understands where we are coming from—and our dispatchers definitely know a former dispatcher when they see one!

Thank you for always supporting Baldwin Central and helping us continue to grow and improve. We are very thankful to have you in our corner.

Baldwin County 9-1-1 is excited to announce an upcoming Public Safety Career Fair, open to the public and designed to highlight career opportunities in emergency services and public safety.

The event will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 9am to 2pm at the Robertsdale Coliseum. Job seekers will have the opportunity to meet representatives from several agencies across the county and the state, including law, fire, EMS, 911, and other public safety organizations.

“This job fair is a great chance for anyone interested in a career in public safety to learn more about the wide range of opportunities available,” said Kristi Stamnes, Baldwin County 911 Director. “Agencies are looking for dedicated individuals who want to serve their communities, and this event provides a direct connection between candidates and employers.”

Participants can expect to:
• Explore career opportunities with multiple public safety agencies.
• Speak directly with recruiters and hiring staff.
• Learn about the application process, training, and career paths in public safety.

The Baldwin County Public Safety Career Fair is free and open to all members of the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring copies of their résumés and come prepared to ask questions about career opportunities.
