Hey Baldwin County, we need your input! The Eastern Shore MPO, in collaboration with the Baldwin County Commission and the cities of Loxley and Spanish Fort, is developing a comprehensive plan to improve safety for all โ€”including pedestrians, bicyclists, transit users, and drivers. This Safety Action Plan will focus on roadway safety challenges, identifying projects and policy changes that will address these issues. This effort is funded by a โ€œSafe Streets and Roads for Allโ€ grant recently awarded to the County. Check out https://baldwinsafestreets.org and fill out the survey!

We extend our sincere appreciation to Mayor Mike McMillan and Councilman Ron Scott for their service on the MPO Policy Board since 2012.

Over the past 13 years, both leaders have played a key role in shaping and supporting transportation initiatives that have enhanced safety, connectivity, and quality of life throughout our region. Their commitment and collaborative spirits have been instrumental in moving many important projects forward.
