Today marks five years since Deputy Bill Smith, B-105, lost his life while selflessly putting others before himself.

Deputy Smith believed in service, leadership, and investing in the future of first responders. In honor of his legacy and his dedication to future generations of law enforcement and fire service professionals, our Cadet Program proudly carries the Post number of 105.

Every meeting, every lesson learned, every act of service, and every young person preparing to answer the call is a reminder that his impact continues to be felt.

Today, we pause to remember Deputy Bill Smith, his sacrifice, and the legacy he left behind. His badge number may have been B-105, but his influence reaches far beyond those numbers.

We remember. We honor. We continue the mission.

Safety first. Skills second. Confidence always. 💥

Our cadets spent time on the range learning firearm safety, shooting fundamentals, and responsible gun handling from Deputy Patton, Corporal Corley and Lieutenant Hunady. Thank you all for investing in the next generation of leaders and public servants.

Tonight we had the opportunity to wish Cadet Bryce Miller well as he begins his career with the Army National Guard.

We are proud of all he has accomplished during his time in our program and excited to see what the future holds for him. Thank you for your hard work, dedication, and service-minded spirit.

Best of luck, Bryce! We’ll be cheering you on every step of the way. 🇺🇸

Our Cadets were proud to assist with the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office Annual Bike Rodeo! 🚲☀️

From helping with event operations to encouraging safe riding habits, our cadets enjoyed serving alongside deputies and engaging with families in the community. Events like these provide valuable opportunities for our cadets to develop leadership skills, build relationships, and give back through service.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this year’s Bike Rodeo a success. We are grateful for the opportunity to be involved and look forward to serving our community at future events!
