Help the Reading District Libraries sponsor the adoption fee of a pet! Kids (adults too!) can record their reading and help us reach our community goal of 500,000 minutes. Pick up reading tickets at the library!

Humane Pennsylvania is so excited to partner with Reading Public Library and Reading District Libraries for the 4th Annual Pages for Pets program! From June 22 through July 24, readers of all ages can help sponsor the adoption of a shelter pet simply by logging their reading minutes. 📚🐾

The goal? A community-wide total of 500,000 minutes read! Every page, chapter, audiobook, comic, magazine, or newspaper article brings us one step closer to helping a deserving shelter animal find a loving home.

Since the program began, Berks County readers have logged more than 1.7 million minutes and helped multiple shelter pets find their forever families. This year, one lucky Humane PA pet will have their adoption fee fully sponsored thanks to your reading efforts!
