Our 911 Dispatchers are the invisible guardians of our community. These talented individuals are the first to hear the cry for help, the first to offer guidance, and the first to set into motion the chain of response that saves lives. They work in the shadows, without sirens or flashing lights, yet their impact is felt in every safe arrival, every life saved, and every crisis averted. They are absolutely the calm in the chaos and here at the CCSO we have a strong 911 crew that we consider the best!! 🤍💛

We appreciate our dispatchers every single day for the critical role they play! They are the lifelines. The heartbeat of emergency response.

This week is National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week and we want to shine the spotlight on our phenomenal group! I thank each and every one of you for your dedication and commitment to our community! Your passion and expertise you show daily is to be applauded!

On 02-11-2026, around 430 pm, a comment was made on one of the Sheriff's Offices post. This comment came from the administration. Neither I or the other person who normally makes the posts made that comment. At that point we felt our account had been hacked. An investigation was immediately Initiated. The comment was then deleted, not the post.
The person who made the comment was quickly identified as a former employee who we did not realize still had access to the administration page. That access is being changed at this time.
Later we found the post was deleted, not by me or the other person that normally maintains the account. This part is still under investigation.
We are currently trying to restore the post along with all of the comments attached.
This deletion of the post was not intentional nor authorized by myself.
I apologize for the problems this has created, and safeguards are being added at this time to keep this from occurring in the future.
I will update everyone on the progress of the investigation as we have any findings.
