The Robinson High School Academic Foundation was founded in 1985 by Principal Gene Manuel and several community leaders committed to enhancing the academic experiences of Robinson High School students. In 2004, The Robinson High School Alumni Association and Academic Foundation joined as one organization withe the same mission. The Philosophy of the foundation is to offer a vehicle for Robinson a

rea citizens, alumni, and others to become involved in supporting education without supplanting the traditional roles of teachers, administrators, and school board members. The foundation serves to receive and administer donations, grants, and bequests of money or property and in return provides funding for innovative educational programs, projects, or activities which cannot be adequately funded through existing sources. Funding proposals are accepted only after approval of RHS administration. Funding of proposals will be consistent with the mission, purpose, and philosophy of the foundation.

Aiden Elder is in Orlando, Florida this week. He is representing Illinois in the Microsoft Word Office Specialist U.S. National Championship. Aiden earned his certification in the MS Word class at RHS. Due to his high certification test score, he qualified for the national competition to represent the state of Illinois. Best of luck to Aiden!
