Thank You to Tyson Foods, Our Congressman Bennie G. Thompson, Our Tunica County Board of Supervisors & County Administrator, Our County Feeding Allies & Partners, Tunica Parks & Rec., and the Tunica Workforce Center. This wonderful effort to help feed the hungry is an annual event during the Congressional Black Caucus Tunica Policy Conference as a brain child of Congressman Thompson. This event occurred Thursday 08/06/2026 at the GW Recreation Center in Tunica County, MS.

Tunica County Parks & Recreation is excited to announce that applications are now being accepted for the Tunica County Youth Development Job Readiness Program!
This program is designed to equip our youth with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to succeed in school, the workplace, and life.
✅ Who Can Apply? • Youth ages 16–18 • Residents of Tunica County • Currently enrolled in high school, middle school, or a GED program
📅 Orientation September 24, 2026 🕔 5:00 PM 📍 G.W. Henderson, Sr. Recreation Center
📚 Session I October 5 – November 18, 2026
