North Tunica Fire Department Responds to Vehicle Fire 🚒🔥

Yesterday, August 25th, at approximately 6:40 AM, North Tunica Fire Department was dispatched to a vehicle fire on Highway 61 North in Robinsonville.
Our firefighters quickly pulled out and proceeded to the scene, where they were able to knock the fire down within minutes. Great job by our firefighters responding quickly and getting the situation under control!

North Tunica Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 713 and West Commerce Street.

Upon arrival, firefighters found that one of the vehicles was fully involved in fire. Before emergency crews arrived, courageous bystanders safely removed two victims from the burning vehicle, undoubtedly preventing an even more tragic outcome.

North Tunica Fire Department quickly extinguished the vehicle fire and assisted Pafford EMS with the care of three injured victims. One victim was airlifted to Regional One Health, another was transported by ambulance to Regional One Health, and the third victim was transported by Pafford EMS to Baptist DeSoto Hospital.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the civilians who selflessly stepped in to help remove the victims from the vehicles. Your quick actions and bravery made a tremendous difference.

Please keep all of the victims, their families, and the first responders involved in your thoughts and prayers.
