- Chamber: o Promote the growth & stability of the economic climate of the City of Robstown & adjacent areas of Nueces County. o Work with industry & interested private citizens to establish a favorable business climate. o Perform any & all services, including the acquisition, preservation & dissemination of business information. o Promote the interest of trade & increase the facilities for commercial transactions & development in the City of Robstown & adjacent areas of Nueces County. o Utilize all necessary means of promotion with particular attention & emphasis given to the economic, civic, commercial, industrial, & cultural interests of the area. - Economic Development: o Promote the location of new industrial, manufacturing, commercial, & other business enterprises in the City of Robstown & the adjacent areas of Nueces County o Promote the expansion of existing industrial, manufacturing, commercial & other business enterprises in the City of Robstown & the adjacent areas of Nueces County o Conduct research & development of information regarding the area economics, finance, education, training, housing, human relations, planning & development, & other similar matters of public concern - Tourism: o Create a consciousness for the City of Robstown and the adjacent areas of Nueces County of the potential trade advantages of the visitor industry o Create a comprehensive publicity, advertising, & promotional program to solicit & attract visitors to the City of Robstown & the adjacent areas of Nueces County o Provide appropriate services to support the promotional program to solicit & attract visitors to the City of Robstown & adjacent areas of Nueces County o Promote and assist programs of information, education, recreation, & development for visitors to the City of Robstown & the adjacent areas.
