Good evening, Fisher County... A weather update from the National Weather Service of San Angelo stating the flash flood warning remains in effect until 08:30 p.m. for central Fisher County.. The radar indicated showers and a few lingering thunderstorms producing moderate rain across the warned area.. Reported flooding on highway 92 east of Rotan. Radar estimates that rainfall of 2 to 3 inches, with up to 3.5 inches, occurred along a swath from northeast of Rotan to west of Roby to Capitola and west of Gannon. With ongoing moderate rain, flash flooding could be occurring in these areas. Locations that will experience flash flooding include.. Rotan, Roby, Longworth, Busby, Capitola, and Gannon. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
