🛟☀️ A GIANT THANK YOU TO OUR SPRING LAKE LIFEGUARDS! ☀️🛟

As we near the end of our Spring Lake 2026 season, we want to take a moment to recognize an absolutely incredible group: our lifeguards! 👏❤️

This year’s crew has gone above and beyond, exceeding our expectations and showing us what dedication, responsibility, and teamwork look like.

And the results speak for themselves… PERFECT SCORES on BOTH of our surprise audits this summer! 💯💯

We couldn’t be prouder.

These guards could have chosen summer jobs with far less responsibility. Instead, they CHOSE to become lifeguards: to train, stay alert, be accountable, and put in the work every day to keep our pool safe. They took on that responsibility and committed themselves to being the very best guards they could be.

A huge thank you to our managers — Gracyn, Baylie, Ellen, Carol, and Maureen — for their leadership and for holding our team to the highest standards all summer long. 👏

And a special shoutout to Nolan Johnson, who earned some incredible praise from our auditor this past weekend:

⭐ “Some of the best scanning I’ve seen from a guard all season.” ⭐

That’s something to be proud of!

Connolly Park may be one of Rochelle's smaller parks, but it has been serving neighborhood families for nearly 60 years! 🌳🏀

Located at 196 Gary Street, this cozy 1-acre neighborhood park was donated by the City of Rochelle in 1966, providing a welcoming place for recreation and community gatherings.

Today, visitors can enjoy:
🏀 Basketball court
🛝 Playground
🏡 Picnic shelter
📚 Little Free Library
