Not one- but TWO therapy dogs visited the Barns on Wednesday! First up we have Lula, and the we have Miss Gabby (Missy for short). Another eventful Wednesday at The Barns!

Next Wednesday- our Life Enrichment Director will be preforming some of her dances from the circus musical she just finished with all sold out runs! She will be trying her very best to bring in her actual costumes as well.

They are truly a gift, and we look forward to honoring them together.

4 days ago, at the age of 95, we said goodbye to a beloved member of our community, Peter Bercik. Peter was a graduate of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. Following his graduation, he went on to open and own trade schools, and proudly serve as an advanced flight instructor in the United States Air Force.
In his wife’s words, “Peter was an excellent pilot”. He shared his talents not only with his students, but with his family too- as he would often take them on flights across the country.

He is survived by his loving wife pictured here, Peggy; and his children: Lynn Herrick, Mark Bercik, Brian Bercik, and Peggy Ann Jones. Along with many grand- and GREAT grandchildren. We are grateful to have been in the presence of Peter, and may he find peace in his next phase of life with God.

Although we are grieving, remember to find comfort in that he is now in Heaven, he was a devoted member of the Knights of Columbus, the American Legion, and Our Lady Miraculous. Thank you for your laughs, love, and your service Peter- you will always be remembered. 🪽
