My kids and I attended the concert at RST, Rochester International Airport Monday. It was free, good weather, music, amazing food trucks, and a great crowd...however a bit too much PR (for an airport many residents believe should not be City funded). However MN performer, Cori Kennedy, was amazing! Nicely done to all involved. (Question: hopefully a City official can mention here how much Monday's RST concert cost taxpayers? organizers at the event could not) thank you.

If you missed Cori on Monday, head over to Mayo Park tonight where she again is performing free of charge. Also, please put these dates on your calendar for a summer packed with low-cost musical family friendly events. Memories are made with music.

As a council member and resident here for decades, I have always supported our Cities Public Music. Music is a way to connect neighbors, support mental well-being, and building community. Thank you.

Hope to see everyone this summer in Rochester's beautiful parks listening to music together.

I love our library. My three kids grew up in Rochester experiencing our amazing award-winning Public Library.
As a City Council member, I voted to support our library, now you can too.

Please mark your calendars for the Friends of the Rochester Public Library Rochesterfest Book Sale!

As a former school teacher and current volunteer and community advocate, I believe we need to amplify places of belonging. Our beloved library is at the heart of our community. Please discover the wonders yourself.
Hope to see you there.

As a Councilmember, I advocated and voted to keep Silver Lake pool part of Rochester. I also collaborated with community members to create Rochester's new Aquatic Center at Soldiers Field.
Community connection, safety, and inclusion are important to a healthy City.
Please join in the fun as Silver Lake opens this Monday!

We need more proof (proven policy records) and less promises (campaign propaganda).

Transparency starts from within. Transparency is Trust

A governing principle in America is our constitutional Separation of Powers.
Dictated by our city's "weak mayor" Charter, Rochester's mayor is officially NONpartisan. Our mayor is also part of the Executive branch of local government.
Residents are easily confused as both mayor Norton and hired administrator Zelms have choosen optics of power by sitting high up on the legislative City Council dias... but neither are legislators.

As a former high school science teacher, I have now lived/worked in Rochester for decades paying close attention to details and patterns in our local economy. I have consistently advocated for honesty, tri-government collaboration, and fiscal transparency.

As a Rochester City Councilmember my voting record has proven to be non-partisan, voting for sustainability and AGAINST high property taxes (stemming from a ballooning budget without travel receipts). I've promoted competitive bidding, authentic public engagement, and real accessibility. I have supported essential workers, small buisnesses, and funded public safety, all while advocating fiercely for affordability. Rochester families are struggling to put food on their tables and have affordable housing, we need more than broken downtown pavers and an over-priced sport complex...residents need stability, safety, and leaders they trust.

I've played these games before...and I do not like this game with an uneven playing feild. A game filled with unchecked city administration power, cronyism, and hidden agendas. To change corrupt rules, it starts with transparency from within.

Rochester's mayor cannot play in secret with paid lobbyists, party politics, or be in bed with big money and power.
Government conflict-of-interests need to be reported, independent audits done, and ALL receipts exposed. There is no such thing as a "free lunch", the strings attached need to be made public.

As a former local legislator who authentically listens, shows up, and does not rubber stamp; I have been asked by residents from both political parties to run for mayor. We can't even have civil discussions without first knowing what is happening behind closed doors.

I have been asked to help end propaganda, help amplify resident voices, and protect our constitutional rights. Government leaders should never be above the law.

I have been asked to run for Mayor to help change the rules of this hidden political game by putting residents in their place, first. Rochester residents have the right to know what is happening in City Hall and where every dollar of their taxes is spent.

Please, please research the facts, dig deeper then tabloid headlines and vote this summer. Vote for transparency on (or before) August 11th. Vote for someone proven to have the resilience to show up, speak up, and demand government accountability.
Vote Molly for Mayor 2026.

Transparency is trust and integrity matters.

This weekend celebrates Armed Forces Day. Like many, my family has fought and served in the United States military armed forces. Family members I care deeply about have made increadible sacrifices for our country with their devoted and courageous service in our military. Thank you to them and everyone who serves/served our country.
Members within my family have served in three branches, the US Army, US Navy, and US Air Force. Each one has shared with me their stories, their hardships of service, and even years of war, such as torture during imprisonment in Vietnam.
This photo below is of my grandfather who served in the US Army in Europe during WWII. He was inflicted with injuries and trauma from his years of service to our country.

I have the utmost admiration and heartfelt appreciate for all those who have risked (and sacrificed) their lives for our freedoms and our nation.
Thank you to every person who has served, every person who currently serves, and everyone who will serve. Thank you.
Thank you from the depths of my heart for your service.

City Town Halls should be recorded for accessibility and transparency. Kim Norton - Serving as Mayor in Rochester, MN. There was several City of Rochester, paid staff and elected officials in attendance. Since there was a lot of valuable public information (and only a few residents) was your town hall last Tuesday recorded?

*note: I've requested transparency before and my questions go unanswered... thought I would try social media this time.

Thank you
