And that’s a wrap! 🎒 Thank you to Medspeed LLC for helping move more than 4,000 backpacks and school supplies from Jefferson Elementary to 50+ schools and organizations across Southeast Minnesota. Their support helped make sure these supplies got where they needed to go—so students across our region can start the school year ready and confident.

We’re remembering Dolly Parton not only as a singer and songwriter, but as a generous changemaker who believed every child deserves the chance to grow up surrounded by books. Through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, she helped spark a love of reading for children across the world—including right here in Southeast Minnesota.

At United Way of Southeast Minnesota, we’re honored to help carry that wish forward by supporting stronger starts and brighter futures for children and families. Dolly will always be remembered as “the book lady,” and we can continue her story by helping more children build home libraries of their own.
