New Sewickley Township Police Department

We will be hosting FREE CPR classes on June 10th and June 16th. Class will be held from 6pm to 9pm each night. The class will be the same both nights so you only need to attend one night to receive your certification.

We would like to thank the New Sewickley Fire District for allowing us to host these classes in their station on Route 989.

PennEnergy Resources will be sponsoring these classes so that anyone can attend at no cost.

The New Sewickley Township Police Department is attempting to locate Kristian Bowser, as he has been reported as a missing person. Bowser is a 32-year-old white male, 5'9" tall, weighing approximately 130 pounds. Bowser was last seen walking away from his residence in New Sewickley on the morning of Friday, May 29, 2026. Bowser was last seen wearing a light blue shirt, light blue pants, and brown shoes. If anyone has information or may have seen Bowser, please contact the Beaver County 911 Center at 724-775-0881 or the New Sewickley Township Police Department at 724-774-2473.

Today, the New Sewickley Township Police Department, New Sewickley Fire District, and Allegheny Health Network medical unit 957, had the pleasure of welcoming Zayne from Project Zayne: Calm in Crisis!

Project Zayne helps support children with autism and special needs during emergency situations by providing first responders with sensory bins and specialized training to help bring comfort and calm during high-stress incidents.

Our departments thank Zayne for visiting our department and for the incredible work being done to make our community safer and more inclusive for everyone!

After 14 years of dedicated service, we recognize Patrolman Kopaz as he enters his final month with the department in June 2026.

Throughout his career, Patrolman Kopaz has been a tremendous asset to this department, demonstrating commitment, professionalism, and dedication to the community he served. His impact on the department and those around him will not be forgotten, and he will be greatly missed.

We thank him for his years of service and wish him the very best in retirement and future endeavors.
