In observance of Juneteenth, The Housing Council will be closed on Thursday, June 19.

Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and serves as a time to reflect on the ongoing pursuit of equity and opportunity for all.

While our office is closed, housing resources and information are available anytime on our website. We will resume normal business hours on Monday, June 22.

The Fair Housing Act protects people from discrimination in housing, and we are dedicated to ensuring that everyone has equal access to housing opportunities, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.
This month, we celebrate diversity, promote inclusion, and continue our work to educate, advocate, and support communities where every person can feel safe, respected, and at home.

This NeighborWorks Week, we're sharing what housing education makes possible.

📊 PathStone Housing served 5,047 households in FY2024–2025 — and the outcomes behind that number tell the real story:

🏡 131 families purchased a home after completing housing education and counseling services
🛡️ 67 households prevented or resolved a forward mortgage default
🔧 204 homeowners improved their home conditions through post-purchase education
🌾 2,268 rural-area clients served — reaching communities where access to housing resources is often limited
🌎 1,904 clients with Limited English Proficiency served, in English, Spanish, and other languages

These aren't just numbers. They're families who are safer, more stable, and more informed because of the work this network does every day. This is why NeighborWorks Weeks matters. This is why we show up.
