The Housing Council at PathStone has provided housing-related services in Monroe County and surrounding areas since 1971, serving over 8,000 households annually. Our mission is to increase successful homeownership and te

Since 1983, NeighborWorks Weeks has been a time for housing organizations across the country to come together — and show what's possible when community is at the center of every decision.

PathStone is one of 240+ organizations in the NeighborWorks America network. This year alone, we served 5,047 households across New York, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Puerto Rico — helping families access housing education, build financial stability, and find their footing.

What is NeighborWorks Weeks?

🏡 Every June since 1983, the NeighborWorks America network has come together for a national week of action — mobilizing housing organizations, volunteers, and community leaders to strengthen neighborhoods and expand access to affordable homeownership across the country.

This year, NeighborWorks Weeks runs May 23–June 7, 2026 — and PathStone is proud to be part of it. NeighborWorks America's mission centers on three pillars:
✅ Affordable homes
✅ Financial stability
✅ Strong communities PathStone has served 5,047 households this year — across New York, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Puerto Rico — as part of this national network.

Yesterday, The Housing Council at PathStone had the opportunity to participate in the United Way Day of Caring with Uganda Water Project! 💧🌍

Our team assembled essential components that will help provide safe water access to communities in Uganda. It was an incredible hands-on experience that reminded us how small acts of service can create a life-changing impact around the world.

Thank you to United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes and Ugandan Water Project for organizing such a meaningful volunteer opportunity and allowing us to be part of something bigger than ourselves. 💙
