This evening, CSEA Local 828 proudly commemorated its annual scholarship awards dinner, recognizing exceptional graduating seniors among Monroe County employees' children who demonstrated academic distinction through compelling essays and outstanding scholarly achievements. Congratulations, best of luck, and go Union!

At Local 828's General Membership meeting last night, former Local President Bess Watts recorded a heartfelt message to Ove Overmyer, who is navigating a path towards recovery, with many members expressing their best wishes for Ove and his family's health and happiness.

STEWARD TRAINING

CSEA is hosting a two-part Steward Training class on May 18th and May 19th from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Attendance on both nights is required, and food will be provided.

This workshop is designed for members interested in strengthening our union. The sessions provide essential skills for communicating, organizing, and leading employees in the workplace. Please note that participants must complete this workshop and be appointed by their Local/Unit President to be certified as a CSEA Steward.
