The Nickel Plate Music & Arts Festival is this Saturday! Be sure to stop by the library booth to find out about our programming, get some SWAG, make your own magnet with our button maker, and pick up the latest copy of Poet Tree - our annual community book of poetry and art!

You'll also get to see some of your favorite library staff. We will see you at the festival!

There are twelve new bestsellers, four new movies, 85 new audiobooks, one new music CD, nineteen new children's books, and 160 other new books, including 218 that are available online.

The new bestsellers this week include "Sunlight Finds You," "Rhythm Heaven™: Groove [Nintendo Switch]," and "Bluey's Quest for the Gold Pen [Nintendo Switch]." The new movies this week include "Project Hail Mary [Blu-ray]," "Project Hail Mary," and "Hokum [Blu-ray]."

Enroll your child for free monthly books!

If you are a parent/legal guardian of a child ages 0-5 years old, register them today for free monthly books. Here is how it works: Enroll your child online. In 6-8 weeks, your child will receive their first book in the mail, “The Little Engine That Could.” Books arrive in the mail monthly until your child’s 5th birthday!

Attention Fellow Artists: The Nickel Plate Trail is coordinating a plein air paint-out and competition for Sunday, August 23rd from 2-6 pm in Rochester, Indiana.
