Have You Seen Our New Chat Icon?

Have you noticed this new icon popping up on the Village of Rochester website? 👀

It’s our new chatbot! You can use it to ask questions and get help finding information on our website.

We’re still in the early stages of rolling it out, so there may be a few glitches or things that don’t work quite right yet. But we’d love for you to give it a try!

If you notice a major glitch, incorrect information, or something that just doesn’t seem to be working properly, please let us know! Send an email to [email protected] and let Janelle know what you were trying to do and what went wrong.

Mark your calendars! Trick or Treat this year will be held on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31, 2026, from 1:00–4:00 PM.

That’s right — SATURDAY! Since Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, Trick or Treat will take place on Halloween Day, rather than the Sunday before.

📅 SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31
🕐 1:00–4:00 PM

Please note that Trick or Treat is usually held on the Sunday before Halloween when Halloween falls on a Monday through Friday. However, when Halloween falls on a Saturday or Sunday, Trick or Treat is held on October 31.

We are 2 weeks away from one of our most favorite events!! Fill the boot! Come see us out on the corners of D and W in Rochester, collecting money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association! All proceeds raised go to MDA! Hope to see you there!!

Oak Knoll Road Restoration Update

Restoration work on Oak Knoll Road is beginning today and will continue tomorrow and into next week.

Crews will be working on seeding, restoration, and other finishing work along the recently completed road project. Residents may see crews and equipment in the area as this work gets underway.

Thank you for your patience as we finish up the Oak Knoll Road project! We’re getting close to the finish line.

🕖 Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Don’t wait until the last minute—mail your absentee ballot back today! 📬

If you received an absentee ballot for the August 11 Partisan Primary Election, please complete and return it as soon as possible. Your ballot must be received by Election Day, August 11, in order to be counted.

Mail delivery can take several days, so returning your ballot early is the best way to help ensure it arrives on time.

You can also bring them to the Village Clerks office Mon-Fri between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm and on election day, August 11, from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm
