Women's Shelter and Support Center, Rochester, MN Women's Shelter Inc. provides outreach, advocacy, and housing to individuals and families impacted by domestic violence. We are always here for you.

Whether you've decided to stay or leave, we can help you discover ways to keep yourself safe. If you have questions about abuse, want to help someone you know, or are just trying to understand your relationship, we have the experience to help you. We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The mission of Women's Shelter Inc. is to assist female victims of domestic violence and their c

hildren by establishing and maintaining a facility which will provide temporary shelter to these victims. Volunteering

All of our volunteer opportunities are posted on the United Way Volunteer website. Please note that an application and interview is required prior to volunteering at the shelter. Donations
Leaving an abusive relationship is more than just emotionally difficult. Many women who use our services leave behind everything they own just to escape. Sometimes women and children come to us with just the clothes on their back. We must provide clothing, bedding, medicine, diapers, toiletries, and, of course food and shelter. However, we can only continue to provide these things through the generosity of the community with both in-kind and monetary donations. PO Box 457

A huge THANK YOU to the wonderful women of Christ Lutheran Church in Preston for putting together an incredible donation of sanitary products for families served through our Fillmore County location. They went above and beyond, and donated reusable heating pads that can be boiled and used multiple times, specifically to help meet the needs of our Amish clients. What a thoughtful and caring gift!

We are so grateful for this amazing group and the many ways they continue to support survivors and families in our community. Your generosity truly makes a difference!

Yesterday was a special day at the Women's Shelter and Support Center, Rochester, MN as we officially celebrated our new shelter with a ribbon cutting hosted by the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce.

The ribbon cutting was part of a private Open House for systems professionals and community partners who work alongside us to support survivors and their families. It was an opportunity to welcome these important partners into our new 75-bed shelter, share the vision behind the space, and celebrate what is possible when a community comes together.

We are deeply grateful to the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce, our community partners, donors, supporters, and everyone who helped make this life-saving shelter a reality.

This building is more than a shelter. It is a place of safety, hope, healing, and new beginnings.

A lobby may be the first place a survivor and her children enter when seeking safety, and creating a space that feels warm, welcoming, and comfortable matters. These beautiful furnishings help make our new shelter feel like a place of hope, dignity, and belonging.
