The Rochester Fire Department is proud to announce that Captain Mike Palmer has officially graduated from the 28th Eastern Michigan University Fire Staff and Command Executive Leadership Program! 🎓🚒

EMU’s Fire Staff and Command Program is an intensive, graduate-level executive curriculum designed to prepare senior fire leadership for the complex challenges of modern public safety administration. Throughout the program, Captain Palmer completed extensive coursework covering strategic planning, executive decision-making, municipal budgeting, labor management, Incident Command Systems, and risk management.

Please join us in congratulating Captain Palmer on this tremendous professional milestone and dedication to serving our community with excellence! 👏

Rain or shine, our community never disappoints!

Despite some less-than-ideal weather, today's Rochester Fire Department Open House was an INCREDIBLE SUCCESS! Hundreds of people braved the rain to join us for what we can confidently say was our BEST OPEN HOUSE EVER! 🎉

While Mother Nature may have grounded our helicopter visit, she certainly didn't dampen the excitement! From the demonstrations and activities to the fire trucks, equipment displays, and countless smiling faces, it was an amazing afternoon celebrating our community.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out, our community partners who helped make the day possible, and especially our firefighters, volunteers, and their families who put so much time and effort into making this event a success.

Events like today remind us why we love serving this community. The support we receive from the people of Rochester is truly something special, and we couldn't be more grateful.

Hundreds of visitors. A little rain. Countless memories. One incredible community. ❤️
