ROC MBK Summer Scholars 2026 Application deadline is approaching!
The ROC My Brother’s Keeper and the City of Rochester, applications for the 2026 MBK Summer Scholars Program, deadline is in two weeks!
This opportunity is open to middle school-aged youth across the City of Rochester. The MBK Summer Scholars Program is designed to empower young people through leadership development, social-emotional growth, community-building, enrichment activities, and workforce readiness experiences.
Please note: Submitting an application DOES NOT guarantee acceptance into the program. Applications are reviewed by a committee made up of representatives from the City of Rochester and the Rochester City School District. The program is designed for youth ages 12 and 13. However, participants are still eligible if they turn 14 after June 1, 2026.
To be considered COMPLETE, applicants MUST submit ALL of the following materials:
• Completed 2026 ROC MBK Summer Scholars Application Form (Microsoft Forms)
• Two letters of recommendation submitted via email to: [email protected]
One letter from a school staff member
One letter from a trusted adult in the community
IMPORTANT: Applications WILL NOT be reviewed or considered complete without BOTH letters of recommendation and the completed application form. Please ensure that all required documents are submitted before the deadline.
Application Deadline: Sunday, June 7, 2026
Wait-listed applicants will be notified.
