We must keep making calls even with two Democratic state senators. Give them a call and tell them to keep doing everything they can to make sure this bill does not pass.

Senate Republicans clashed Sunday about the path forward for their stalled health-care bill, with passage of any plan before the August congressional recess in doubt and rival factions trying to pull it in opposite directions.

Everyone in America should be absolutely outraged by this inhumane and cruel bill.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Thank you all for calling in! The NY State Assembly passed the New York Health Act, which guarantees universal healthcare to all New York residents!

Only ONE more State Senator co-sponsor is needed to have a majority in support of the NY Health Act. If you can, please take 5 mins out of your day and call your State Senator at (518) 455-2800 and urge them to cosponsor S4840, the New York Health Act.

Even if your Senator is a cosponsor, calls are important to make sure that they show up for the vote and keep their commitment.

What to say? Your message can be very simple: "My name is _______. I am a constituent calling from ________ to urge State Senator ____________ to vote YES in support of the New York Health Act, S4840 when the bill comes up for a vote in the Senate. This is a very important bill that will guarantee healthcare to ALL New Yorkers. Do you know if they plan to support the bill?"
