The Pittsford Republican Committee ("PRC") membership reflects the community. It consists of a diverse group of people with diverse backgrounds. And it brings together business owners, retirees, teachers, insurance agents, realtors, lawyers, doctors, parents with young families, empty-nesters, folks who have both lived in Town for many years or have just moved in, and so many more. The common bond

is that we all care about the Town of Pittsford. The PRC has a history of supporting candidates and elected officials who have kept the Town one of the most desirable communities in which to live in New York State. We always welcome new members who wish to join us in our ongoing efforts to preserve Pittsford’s character and to continue its long tradition of good government.

The Pittsford Republican Committee will soon formally designate a candidate for Town Supervisor. Fortunately, Bill Smith has indicated his desire to run again for an eighth 2-year term in November, now that town elections are moving to even years. However, we do have a candidate screening committee, so if you, or anyone else you know know, wish to be considered, please email the PRC with a cover letter and resume to [email protected] by February 11.

Scott Wallman is a candidate for Pittsford Town Board. With 36 years of experience in the Highway Department—13 as General Foreman— he understands the importance of well-maintained roads, strong infrastructure, and responsible town management. He earned a reputation as a respected, fair, hardworking and transparent leader.

Scott has lived in Pittsford for 56 years. The Wallman family has lived, worked, and attended school in Pittsford for generations. Whether as a student athlete as a teen, an active parent with kids in Pittsford schools, a caring neighbor or a dedicated town employee, Scott makes a positive impact in everything he does!

As a town board member, he will work to ensure smart investments in infrastructure, responsible spending, and continuous progress to keep Pittsford strong for generations to come.

Kim Taylor has been serving our community for the past four years as a member of Town Board and as Deputy Supervisor. With a common-sense approach, Kim has worked to keep taxes stable while enhancing our sidewalks, parks, and green spaces, with a focus on activities for seniors and families. She has advocated for our neighborhoods during zoning updates and has prioritized public safety.

Kim is committed to continuing her work to make Pittsford an even better place to live with a focus on the local issues that impact all our lives.

Kim has been an attorney for 23 years and manages the assigned counsel program at our regional appellate court. She was the first member of her family to graduate from college (SUNY Geneseo), and met her husband while both attending SUNY Buffalo Law School. Kim and her husband have four kids all educated in our Pittsford schools. Before law school Kim worked counseling at-risk youth and women in crisis, and began her legal career working in Family Court.

Kim is dedicated to making sure Pittsford’s quality of life stays great and keeps getting better!

Please re-elect Kim Taylor to Town Board.

Judge Bernacki and his family moved to the Town of Pittsford in 1995. He has resided here ever since. He started practicing law in 1991 and moved his law practice to the Village of Pittsford in 1998. He coached for years in both the Pittsford Little League and the Pittsford Mustangs Soccer League.

In 2002, Justice Bernacki became a member of the Pittsford Town Board, a position in which he served for 7 years. He was then elected, in 2009, as one of our two Pittsford Town Justices.

Justice Bernacki is a past president of the Pittsford Rotary Club and the Pittsford Chamber of Commerce. He previously received the Pittsford Chamber of Commerce “Business Person of the Year” Award. He is a two time past president of the Monroe County Magistrates’ Association.

Justice Bernacki is admired by his colleagues and continues to help train new Town Justices. He is endorsed by many of the men and women who put their lives on the line to keep us all safe, including the Rochester Police Locust Club and Finger Lakes Police Federation.

Let’s make sure we re-elect the Honorable John Bernacki to another term as Pittsford Town Justice!
