So glad to have had the opportunity to have served FFRPL and the Library! (Susan, posting on behalf of FFRPL).

A big thank you goes out to Susan Chekow Lusignan, the Director of Marketing & Program Development for Friends & Foundation of the Rochester Public Library! The Friends & Foundation team, which is comprised of employees, volunteers and donors, are a key reason the Rochester Public Library serves its patrons so well. Whenever you have thought. “Wow, what an awesome thing the library is doing!” You can be sure the Friends & Foundation had a hand in it. Susan has served our community brilliantly, and her achievements include providing a remarkable array of interesting and fun programming and making sure the word got out about all the cool things going on at the library. A genuinely kind lady, a talented and dedicated library team member, and a brilliant and innovative thinker, Susan will be missed as she embarks on her next endeavors.
Fare thee well Susan! We are so grateful for what you have done for us!

FFRPL was proud to sponsor The 90-Second Newbery Film Festival, which marked its 15th year this past weekend.

It was a great crowd for Saturday's event at the George Eastman Museum, and the student films (based on Newbery Award-winning books) were creative and entertaining.
