Rest in peace to two absolute icons and titans of their industries. Dolly Parton spent all of her money on the right things, sign your child up for her Imagination Library! And Tim Curry used his vast theatrical range to bring the A Series of Unfortunate Events audiobooks to life! They both brought out the best in anything they were a part of.

It's summer when all thoughts turn to READING! So, come in to the Monroe Branch and sign-up for our adult summer program. Get a folder that includes a reading list plus other fun activities you can do by yourself or with a family member/friend.
Also, check out the "Summer Mystery Reads" with Gerald!

Good luck Corinne! We wish you all the best in your future adventures.

A hearty congratulations on her retirement goes out to a brilliant member of the Rochester Public Library, Corinne Clar. Corinne is the head of RPL’s Graphics Division. She and her team are the ones who have created a staggering amount of beautiful and informative online content, banners, fliers and publications for us. That work only scrapes the surface of what Corinne had done for our library community. She is a key reason Central Library and its branches have so many delightful and artistic displays. She is also a key reason the library’s mobile fleet of Books by Bikes and RPL-Go look so nice. There is no way we can list all the marvelous things Corinne had done for us but we here at Arnett want to give her a special thank you for creating the book, The Arnett Branch Library, 1923-2023! That book, which we will put in the comments, celebrates our wonderful patrons. Thanks for everything Corinne, we could not have asked for a more kinder, wiser, and talented friend!

Did you know that ladybugs smell with their feet?? Or that they eat as many as 5,000 pesky pest bugs in their lifetime (which can be as long as 3 years)?
Check out the Ladybug Day events this Saturday June 6th on Rosedale Street, you’ll see our very own Ms. Kassie there for a storytime at 11:15 🐞
