(2)

PTG is the positive outcomes that occur after struggling with a stressful or traumatic life event. Currently, there are five domains where PTG may occur:

1) New Possibilities: finding new interests, establishing a new path in life, discovering new opportunities

2) Relating to Others: after experiencing a traumatic event, you may find that you relate more with others and feel like you can have c

ompassion for them and/or count on them

3) Personal Strength: enduring a crisis may make you realize that you are a strong person

4) Spiritual Change: experiencing trauma may make you have a stronger religious faith and/or provide you with a better understanding of spiritual matters. For example, romantic relationship issues, natural disasters/fire, moving to a new home/school/job, death, etc. may all be considered "traumatic events".
