Any uninsured or underinsured individual is welcome through our doors. The Center serves approximately 3,500 individuals who h

Yesterday, August 30th, was National Grief Awareness Day, which aims to open the discussion about grief and normalize what the healing process can look like for some people. It is important to understand that grief can stem from the passing of a loved one or pet, but also from life changes such as divorce, job loss, or chronic illness. Grief is also a deeply personal experience, unique to each person, and can be a very long process.

Our second mindfulness workshop on Saturday was a success! Everyone walked away feeling lighter and more grounded. With the sound of the wind in the leaves, the faint splash of the reservoir, and the smell of the cut grass, everyone felt more attuned to nature.

Thank you, Dr. Kim Nghiem, for leading folks through a mindfulness practice and offering helpful tips for continuing to practice in our own time. Our next Mindfulness Workshop will take place on September 19th!
