Mrs. Harrison's 4th grade class participated in a Mystery Geography Meeting. They learned all about the state of Indiana, maps, and had several geography lessons. The class was paired up with a class from another state and they had to come up with geographical yes/no questions to determine which state the other class was in. Mrs. Harrison's class is the first class from Indiana to participate in this collaboration. Students learned so much and did an amazing job teaching another state about Indiana!

Students at Caston love to celebrate learning!!! Mrs. Shultz's ACP class celebrated the culmination of a year of ACP classes, as well as reading The Kite Runner, by flying kites.

It is great to give our Comets real world experiences like this one! In May, students in Mrs. Hinderliders Early Childhood Education class helped welcome the newest Comets on Kindergarten Roundup Day! Students helped the attendees with tasks in the classroom, loading and unloading the school bus, going to and from the cafeteria for lunch, and got to play with them on the playground!

It was a whirlwind of a day and we can’t wait to welcome the newest Comets in the fall!

Caston loves its community partnerships! Thank you to Mrs. Anguilm from Purdue Extension for teaching Mrs. Rush's class how to lead a healthy lifestyle. From food choices and label reading to exercise and much more, they've learned how to make choices to get healthy and stay healthy!
