In-person Intro to Homebuying seminar on Wednesday, May 27 at our Niagara Falls location, 479 16th Street.

This introductory workshop is designed to empower first-time buyers considering a home purchase. The presentation introduces participants to the various steps in the home buying process including: assessing readiness, preparing finances, understanding credit, saving for down payments, and navigating the market.

We discuss the pros and cons of renting vs. buying, how to create a spending plan, and strategies for repairing credit (including the Avalanche and Snowball methods).

The session also covers market research, loan options, pre-approval, shopping for a home, and the purchasing process. The workshop is designed to give attendees immediate takeaways to help them get ready to buy their first home.
