Thank you to Mercy Flight/EMS, Le Roy Ambulance Service, City of Batavia Fire Department, NY, Darien Emergency Medical Service, Inc., and all of the volunteer EMS and Fire agencies throughout our communities for your dedication, professionalism, compassion, and outstanding service.
Whether responding at all hours of the day and night, providing lifesaving care during emergencies, supporting community events, or standing ready when help is needed most — your commitment does not go unnoticed.

In 2023, Census Bureau data showed that approximately
15% of regional residents either commuted via an active
transportation mode or worked from home. This represents
a 50% increase from 2018, driven largely by a rise in remote
work following the pandemic. Workers from 25-44 have
significantly increased in likelihood of working from home in
recent years.

We’re also sharing the draft Air Quality Conformity Statement alongside the LRTP.

This Air Conformity Statement confirms that our transportation plan meets federal air quality standards. It helps ensure we maintain the good air quality our region enjoys while moving transportation projects forward.

What is the LRTP?

It’s the region’s long-term roadmap for transportation investments, including roads, transit, biking, and walking.

Draft LRTP 2050 available for public review. Recommendations were developed using regional data, technical analysis, and direct input from residents during Transportation Listening Sessions last summer.
