We’re proud to support our Rochester schools and do our part to keep our students safe. Many of our city employees are parents themselves, meaning they understand just how important it is to know our little ones are safe & cared for! This is what being a community is all about. 🦓

Thank you, Riddle Elementary!

The City of Rochester is looking for a Golf Maintenance team member to join the crew at the golf course! ⛳

If you’re dependable, hardworking, enjoy working outdoors, and don’t mind getting your hands a little dirty, this could be a great fit! Experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person.

JAYCEE PARK UPDATE - Please read! 🚨

We know everyone is READY to get back out there and play at Jaycee Park! We definitely don’t want to keep anyone from enjoying the park any longer than necessary, but right now safety has to come first while finishing touches are being made.

We know we can't stop every single person that enters the area wanting to play, and although the fenced-in playground area is safe, THE SURROUNDING AREAS ARE STILL AN ACTIVE WORK ZONE! Landscaping is underway, grass is being planted, and there are areas that are currently marked off for everyone’s safety. Please do not enter or play in these areas, even if they look like they’re ready to go!

The more time and space we give our crews to work without having to worry about kiddos running around, the quicker we can officially open back up! Right now, we are hoping for mid to late next week. ☀

We PROMISE we are almost there! Please share this post, follow our page, and follow the Rochester Park & Recreation page to stay updated. ☺

Our Water Department is conducting routine flushing of city water mains over the next 30 days.

If you notice discoloration, simply let your water run a little longer before using it. We also recommend holding off on washing those whites until your water runs clear.

Thanks for your patience as we keep our water system clean and maintained! 💧
