Kari O'Byrne's classroom took a field trip to Quarry Hill Nature Center. They enjoyed a live snake show where the students learned about snakes native to Minnesota and the unique adaptations of snakes. The best part of the show was when they were able to touch a live fox snake. They toured around the Exploration Hall and saw around 35 species of Minnesota-native animals—including turtles, snakes, fish, and raptors—plus a 1,800-gallon aquarium and a honeybee hive. It was a day they will remember. Thank you to our PTSA for funding this fun field trip!

A big thank you to Quarry Hill Nature Center!
