It is with deep regret that we report the passing of long time Laurelton Fire Department Firefighter and retired Rochester Fire Department Captain Steve Erb this morning, following a long and courageous battle with cancer. . Many of us remember Steve as an instructor at the PSTF, teaching the new and refresher EMT's, throughout the County . Before Steve was a member of RFD, he taught Code Enforcement classes for the NYS Department of State. Many of the current Fire Marshals and Building Inspectors in our area were certified by Steve. The MCVFA extends our thoughts and prayers to Steve, his wife Heidi and the rest of Steve's family.

The Greece Police Department would like to express our sincere grief in the loss of Leslie Flick, Principal of Greece Arcadia High School. Leslie was a good friend and supporter of the Greece Police. She worked tirelessly for the children of Greece. The Town of Greece has lost one of its true treasures.
