At a press conference hosted by the Monroe County Republican Committee, featuring state and federal candidates, as we joined our congressional candidate, Virginia McIntyre, urged the federal and New York State governments to enact H.R. 8795, the American Families Gas Tax Relief Act, thereby providing temporary relief from the federal gas tax for 120 days. As a candidate for NYS Assembly, I am joining Virginia in advocating for the suspension of the gas tax. As I stated, 'it's time for the Governor to step up to the pump.' PUN TOTALLY INTENDED. We call on Congress and the Governor to transcend partisan politics and provide immediate assistance to American families in their time of need

New York's current political landscape, dominated by its existing elected officials, suggests that the state is poised for a decline in population. The state is losing residents at a higher rate than most other states. Since I announced my candidacy for Assembly, I have been stressing that IT'S TIME FOR A CHANGE.

The recent attempt on our president's life is morally repugnant. Violence as a form of political protest is entirely unacceptable. How much more of this can we tolerate? If you disagree with someone, violence is never an acceptable response. For over a decade, we have seen a disturbing trend of violence against one individual, with insufficient national denouncement.
