Dear Parents and Caregivers,
Our annual Scholastic Book Fair is coming soon- May 12th - May 16th! We invite you to share in this celebration of books and reading.
The Book Fair will be held in Pine Brook’s Library and will feature many favorite authors, titles, and a number of recently published books. The attached Book Fair flier is only a sampling of the titles that will be available. The flier will also provide you with an indication of the price range.
Cash, credit cards, and eWallet are the only forms of payment accepted. EWallet is a safe and secure alternative to cash. Simply create a free account to add funds and/or invite family and friends to contribute so your child can select their books. Any unused funds can be spent at The Scholastic Store Online or to fund a future eWallet only. Please note that sales tax will be charged whatever payment method is used.
Students can shop at the Book Fair during their regularly scheduled library class time. If a student is absent on the day of their library class, we will find another time for the student to stop by and shop at the Book Fair. The Book Fair will also be open after school for our Family Night Time Buy event on Wednesday, May 14th, from 4:30-6:00 PM. Stick around after the Family Night Time Buy event for “Bingo and Bright Chats” with the principal held in the cafeteria.
We will also display books that teachers have identified they want for their classrooms. If you visit the Book Fair, please consider donating a book to your child’s classroom. Look for the Classroom Wish List display at the Book Fair to see what books have already been donated.
If you can’t attend the Fair, shop at our school’s Online Book Fair. All orders ship directly to your home, and shipping is free for book orders over $25.
