Anthony S. was honored today for winning the Smokey the Bear poster contest for Upshur County and the state of West Virginia. Rock Cave students doing great things! Student council field trip tomorrow we are asking that students wear jackets and plenty of warm layers to attend the adventure park. All student council members were given permission slips for their parents to fill out tonight and bring back tomorrow morning.

I spy some RCES rockets! Happy festival week!

This week RCES students worked really hard on the GSA. We gave them tickets daily to be pulled at our end of testing celebration today. They earned tickets for checking answers, wearing headphones during the entire test, eating breakfast and even showing up to school before 8 a.m. every morning during state testing. Even our K-2 students worked on being quiet in the hallways this week for testing tickets. Winners of the art kits are: Katherine, Presley, Hayden, and Amollya. Winners for the Lewis County Park tickets are: Delana, Keagan, Anthony, and Timber. Winners for the badminton sets are: Eli, Levi, Matthew, and Sylas. Grand prize pool winners are: Clinton, Isabella, Maizie, and Briella. Hoping my grand prize winners sit in their pool this summer and study for the next years GSA. Enjoy and Congratulations!
