Rock Falls Offutt Park

Rock Falls Offutt Park In 1996 the Offutt Park was established on 2.8 acres of land donated by R D Offutt Company. The Offutt Park is open to anyone visiting during the year.

The park area was an old abandoned farm-site that was cleared of a barn, silo, silo room, granary, corn-crib, and machine shed/garage. The park was initiated and created by the Town of Rock Creek Volunteer Fireman led by Jerome Bauer and Robert Bauer. Rock Creek Rockets 4-H Club, Rock Falls Area Sportsman Club, and many local residents also helped in the effort. The park initially consisted of a b

all diamond, concrete basketball court, and swings. In 1999, a Bremer Foundation grant provided funding for fences, bleachers, and ball field lights. Throughout the years since, construction of the pavilion with a utility room and restrooms, sand volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, and playground equipment were added. The park is used for Family Reunions, Birthday Parties, and more. The pavilion can be reserved on a first come first serve basis to town residents from May 1st to October 1st. Each year on July 4th, the park hosts a beanbag tournament, pickleball tournament, kids pedal tractor pull, car show, chicken dinner, parade, and fireworks. Proceeds from the event pay for improvements and maintenance throughout the year.

Last chance:
There is still a back pack at the park. It looks like it was used as a diaper bag. It's been there for a few weeks. I'll remove it in a few days but I would love the owner to pick it up. It's on one of the picnic tables

The courts are in final dry time and will be open for play at 7:00 am Friday.
PLEASE
Respect the courts and follow the posted rules. The courts are for pickleball ONLY!
Many players donated money along with a generous match from the Park Committe . There has been many hours invested into this coating and $5,000 spent on materials.
If you see someone not respecting the public courts please inform them it is unacceptable …
Please respect and preserve our coating !

Pickleball update: the courts will be closed starting Saturday, August 15th for a coating process. Hopefully it won't be long but that will depend on the weather conditions. We will post again when they are reopen. Sorry for the inconvenience

Coming from Eau Claire tonight or tomorrow? I thought hwy 85 would be open but not yet. Take 85 to the road closed signs and take a left on Fuller road. Continue on that road until you reach a 't' in the road. Turn left. That will be hwy 85 at the bottom of Carryville hill.
