Rock Falls Offutt Park

Rock Falls Offutt Park In 1996 the Offutt Park was established on 2.8 acres of land donated by R D Offutt Company. The Offutt Park is open to anyone visiting during the year.

The park area was an old abandoned farm-site that was cleared of a barn, silo, silo room, granary, corn-crib, and machine shed/garage. The park was initiated and created by the Town of Rock Creek Volunteer Fireman led by Jerome Bauer and Robert Bauer. Rock Creek Rockets 4-H Club, Rock Falls Area Sportsman Club, and many local residents also helped in the effort. The park initially consisted of a b

all diamond, concrete basketball court, and swings. In 1999, a Bremer Foundation grant provided funding for fences, bleachers, and ball field lights. Throughout the years since, construction of the pavilion with a utility room and restrooms, sand volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, and playground equipment were added. The park is used for Family Reunions, Birthday Parties, and more. The pavilion can be reserved on a first come first serve basis to town residents from May 1st to October 1st. Each year on July 4th, the park hosts a beanbag tournament, pickleball tournament, kids pedal tractor pull, car show, chicken dinner, parade, and fireworks. Proceeds from the event pay for improvements and maintenance throughout the year.

1 month away until the 4th of July. I'm starting to reach out to people who volunteered last year. It takes a lot of 1 hour shifts to make our 4th of July to turn out to be amazing. If you would like to donate an hour, message me at 715-495-3326. Finding enough volunteers is never easy. Make it more fun and volunteer your friend to help you too. 😉

Pickleball players, we have been noticing that the equipment we leave at the park is not getting put back under the Pavillion a lot of the time. The rain and sun takes a toll on them. Please put them back in the bag and hang them back up when you are done with them. Thank you

I received a firework envelope in the mail today but there wasn't anything in there. If you just sent a check recently, check to see if you still have the check sitting there. Message me if you want to know if we received yours.

Also, 4 more days for us to receive donations to be included on the thank you sign

The bathrooms are open and the toys are back out. Mother nature has been a little crazy and we had to wait until it was a little warmer so our water wouldn't freeze

Be sure to mark this on your calendar. Lots of nice cars and great raffle prizes
