🎃🍬 What a FUN night at Lesslie’s Trunk or Treat! 👻🐝

A HUGE thank you to our amazing PTO for organizing such a wonderful event! Thank you to all the families who donated candy, decorated trunks, and helped make tonight so special for our Hornets! We also want to thank the Rock Hill High School ROTC students for volunteering their time to run our booths!

A special shoutout to our generous community sponsors:
🎉 Adventure Air
🐔 Chick-fil-A
🧋What’s Popping Now
🍧 Little Philly’s Water Ice

Of course, we couldn’t let the night go by without a little fun at Dr. Slagle’s expense! 😂 As part of our Hornet Hustle fundraising incentives, students got to brainstorm and suggest ideas for Dr. Slagle’s costume! Some of our top fundraisers also earned the chance to SILLY STRING him tonight! 🎉

And don’t worry, the fun isn’t over yet! 😂 A few of our top Hornet Hustle fundraisers who earned the silly string reward but couldn’t attend tonight will get their chance to cover Dr. Slagle in silly string on Monday!

Thank you to everyone who helped make tonight such a fun and memorable evening for our Lesslie families! If we missed you in a photo, be sure to add yours to the comments! We love seeing our hornets dressed up! 🖤💛🐝

🍎🍏 Something sweet was cooking in 4K! Our little chefs made homemade applesauce from scratch and let it simmer in the crockpot all day! The classroom smelled amazing, and the final verdict? SO yummy! 😋❤️

🐝💛 Just another fun way we’re celebrating Dr. Slagle during Principal Appreciation Month! We asked some of our students a few questions about their principal, and their answers were so sweet! 🖤💛

🎨🖼️ Welcome to The Slagle Museum! 🖼️🎨

What better way to introduce our students to famous works of art AND show Dr. Slagle just how much we love him than by turning him into a collection of masterpieces?! 😂

From the history books to the art museum, Dr. Slagle has officially made his mark! 🤣

We are so thankful for a principal who not only leads with heart but also has a great sense of humor and puts up with ALL of our shenanigans! He’s always such a good sport, even when he never knows what we’re going to come up with next! 💛🖤

Happy National Principals Month, Dr. Slagle! You’re truly a work of art! 🎨👏

As we wrap up our celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, enjoy these pictures of some of the special activities happening at Lesslie! ❤️

Our very own Violeta, a member of our custodial team, and first-grade teacher Mrs. Gilmore teamed up for a bilingual read-aloud of If You Give a Pig a Pancake! 🥞📚

Students also got creative with a coloring contest highlighting influential Hispanic and Latino figures, including artists, athletes, and civil rights leaders! 🎨

What a wonderful way to celebrate language, culture, and the people who make our Lesslie family so special! 💛🐝
