Early Learning Partnership of York County

Early Learning Partnership of York County Reading with a young child is the single most important activity to prepare them for school. To that end, Early Learning was formed as of July 5, 2005.

Early Learning formerly conducted its activities as part of the United Way’s “Success By 6” initiative. As the activities of Early Learning expanded, however, the Board of Directors of the United Way and the Success By 6 Advisory Committee concluded that the programs now administered by Early Learning would be better served—and the future growth and development of those programs more assured—if th

ey were managed by an independent corporation with its own Board of Directors and decision making authority.

Last week, we had the pleasure of touring their facility and learning about the resources, services, and support that they provide to new mothers and fathers. We are so thankful for community partners who help spread the word about the importance of reading and get books in the hands of children in York County 💗
