It's hard to believe that we opened our doors at 420 23rd Street in Rock Island nearly four months ago, and it is because of our generous community that we were able to do so! We are thrilled to report that we are nearing our goal for the EveryChild Capital Campaign and have raised $2.3 million towards our $2.7 million goal.

Our Community Stewards of Children training is coming up on June 24th from 1-3:30pm here at EveryChild! 💙

Stewards of Children is a nationally accredited prevention training that teaches adults how to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. It is the only nationally distributed, evidence-based program proven to increase knowledge, improve attitudes, and change child protective behaviors.

Our hearts are with the Muscatine community following the tragic events on June 1st.

EveryChild’s Mississippi Valley Child Protection Center extends our deepest gratitude to the Muscatine Police Department and the Muscatine County Sheriff’s Office for their steadfast commitment to protecting and serving our community during such a difficult time.

We recognize the emotional weight that incidents like this carry for families, neighbors, first responders, and all those impacted. We stand in full support of the law enforcement professionals who respond with courage, compassion, and professionalism in the face of unimaginable circumstances.

To Muscatine County Emergency Management/ 911 dispatchers, and all first responders: thank you for your dedication, your resilience, and your continued efforts to keep our community safe.

We also encourage our community members to take care of themselves and one another. If you or someone you know needs support, there are several agencies in our community ready to assist.
