Our 5th graders worked hard all year, raising salmon from eggs to fry, monitoring water quality, and maintaining a healthy ecosystem. After plenty of tests and careful preparation, they released their salmon into the Icicle Creek to begin their journey to the ocean!

Our amazing 1st graders had an unforgettable adventure at Rocky Reach Dam! Students explored how hydroelectric power works, learned about the Columbia River ecosystem, and discovered the important role dams play in our community. The hands-on exhibits and fish viewing windows were definitely the highlights of the day! Thank you to the amazing staff at Rocky Reach for making learning come alive, and a special shoutout to our parent volunteers for their time and support!

What an amazing day! Our Girls on the Run participants showed incredible strength, determination, and joy at this year's 5K celebration. We're so proud of every girl who trained, encouraged each other, and crossed that finish line together.

Thank you to our coaches, volunteers, families, and community supporters who made this experience possible. These girls learned that they can accomplish anything they set their minds to.

We are so proud to celebrate these amazing students who received our Character Trait Award for Courage! These young people have shown us what it means to be brave—whether that's standing up for a friend, trying something new despite being nervous, speaking up for what's right, or facing a personal challenge with determination.

Our kindergarteners had an amazing time exploring Smallwood's Harvest! The students enjoyed hands-on learning experiences, discovering how farms work. It was wonderful to see their curiosity and excitement as they connected classroom learning to the real world.

Thank you to the incredible staff at Smallwood's Harvest for hosting us, and to our parent volunteers who made this trip possible. Our students came back with big smiles, new knowledge, and memories they'll treasure!

5th graders explored the Columbia Breaks Fire Interpretive Center, learning about fire ecology in our local ecosystem. Students hiked trails through sagebrush and ponderosa pines, explored a restored fire lookout tower, and created a model of forest fires to understand how fire shapes our landscape. A hands-on adventure in nature and science!
