Congratulations to our Seal of Biliteracy and Commendation Towards Biliteracy recipients!

The Seal of Biliteracy recognizes scholars who have demonstrated strong proficiency in English and an additional language, while the Commendation Towards Biliteracy honors scholars who have made significant progress on their journey toward multilingualism.

These achievements reflect not only outstanding language skills but also cultural understanding, perseverance, and global readiness. We are proud of our scholars for embracing the value of multilingualism and the opportunities it creates for their future academic and career success.

As they graduate and begin their next chapters, we celebrate their accomplishments and the rich diversity they bring to our school community. Congratulations to all of our recipients!

Congratulations to Rocky's Elijah Ramos-Ruiz and Edison's Atlas Morgan on being recognized by the Rock Island County Regional Office of Education with the Back on Track Award for having the most improved attendance this school year!

Presented annually to only four scholars in Rock Island County, this prestigious award recognizes perseverance, dedication, and a commitment to showing up each day ready to learn. Both Elijah and Atlas demonstrated tremendous growth this year, proving that consistent attendance can make a lasting impact on academic success.

To celebrate his achievement, Elijah was also surprised with a custom-built bicycle generously donated by Healthy Habits Bicycle Shop in Bettendorf. A special thank you to Dan Adams, manager of Healthy Habits Bicycle Shop, whose generosity and craftsmanship made this meaningful gift possible.

We are incredibly proud of Elijah and Atlas for their hard work, determination, and growth throughout the school year. Their achievements serve as an inspiration to fellow scholars and a reminder that every day counts. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition!

As we reflect on an incredible 2025-26 school year, we're proud to celebrate some of the accomplishments that helped make it so successful.

On May 26, Denkmann Elementary and Thomas Jefferson Elementary were recognized for earning "Well-Organized" status on the 5Essentials Survey – a testament to the strong school communities they've built for scholars.

The evening also included recognition of our Superintendent's Advisory Councils – Teachers, Staff, and Families – whose partnership and feedback help move our district forward.

Following the recognition, our junior high Superintendent's Advisory Council scholars presented their Action Project on bullying prevention, school environment, academic support, and school improvement, showcasing the power of scholar voice in action.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year one to remember!
