With the addition of Amanda Vette to the staff the Rock Port branch will again be open through the lunch hour Monday through Friday. Thanks to everyone for your understanding during the period where we had to close for an hour.

The Atchison County Library welcomes Amanda Vette to the staff. Amanda is our new Children's Librarian. She started work on April 3, 2023. Be sure to stop by the Rock Port branch and say "hi" to Amanda. We're very glad to have her working with us.

All branches of the Atchison County Library will be closing at noon February 16, 2023 due to inclement weather. We will reopen February 17 our regular hours. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Position Available: Atchison County Library, 200 S. Main in Rock Port, has an immediate full-time opening for a Children’s Librarian. Individual must be personable, articulate and enjoy public service. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience and/or training in the field of education is desirable. Technology skills required.
