Earlier this month, Executive Director, Shari West had the joy of joining partners from across the state at the 2026 Wyoming Continuum of Care Annual Membership Meeting, held at the Riverton Branch Library community room. It was a few days filled with connection, collaboration, and a shared commitment to strengthening Wyoming’s homelessness response system.

As both SFRC’s Executive Director and the Secretary of the Wyoming Continuum of Care, Shari West represented our organization with heart and leadership. We’re proud to have her voice helping shape the future of support and stability for families across Wyoming.

She also got to celebrate a special moment; Anna was recognized with a gift honoring her amazing leadership and the heart she brings to this work. Seeing her light up the room was a reminder of how much impact one person can have when they lead with compassion and creativity. 🤩

Events like this leave us feeling inspired, supported, and grateful for the incredible people doing this work statewide.

We’re proud to share that Sweetwater Family Resource Center is an active member of the Wyoming Family Resource Center Collective, a statewide network working together to strengthen families and expand access to support across Wyoming.

Earlier this month, the Collective hosted Open Technology, an event focused on collaboration, innovation, and building stronger connections between FRCs. Our Executive Director, Shari West, attended on behalf of SFRC, joining partners from across the state to learn, share, and celebrate the work happening in every community. 🥳 And judging by these photos…they had an absolute blast connecting and celebrating together!

We’re grateful to be part of a movement that believes in meeting families where they are, removing barriers, and creating welcoming spaces for all.

We are so proud to share a special moment from this year’s Art on the Green event in Green River; an incredible community tradition made possible by the Green River Arts Council, where our very own Executive Director Shari West serves as a dedicated council member. Her commitment to creativity, community, and connection shines through every part of this event.

And this year brought an extra reason to celebrate…
✨ Our Case Manager, Brooke Andreasen, won the Judge’s Award for her mixed‑media 3D project!

Brooke’s piece is a beautiful reflection of imagination, nature, and storytelling, and we couldn’t be more proud of her talent and the heart she brings to both her art and her work with families in Sweetwater County.
