Photo's from 2026 Convention. Opening prayer from Pastor Randy Hoffman and Pledge of Allegiance from Sauk County Chairman Jerry Helmer. Tony Kurtz was Chairman of the Convention and did a fantastic job. Very inspiring speeches.

Many conservatives showed up in 2024 to vote for Donald Trump and that was important. But in Wisconsin, we have a major problem that many voters still do not realize:

Wisconsin does NOT have straight-ticket voting.

That means voting for President does NOT automatically vote for Republicans down ballot.

You must continue filling out the ENTIRE ballot all the way down through:
• State Supreme Court
• State Assembly
• State Senate
• County offices
• School boards
• Local referendums

Too many conservatives stopped after voting for Trump, and as a result Republicans lost critical state and local races. The Left understands this. They vote every race, every office, every time.
If conservatives want to save Wisconsin, we cannot leave half the ballot blank. A presidential victory means very little if liberal judges, liberal school boards, and liberal state officials still control Wisconsin afterward.
Complete the ballot.
Vote the entire ballot.
Encourage your friends and family to do the same.

That is how we win Wisconsin back.

I drove from Lake Delton to Sauk City yesterday - and was taken by the number of large yard signs already dotting Highway 12 for four of the Republican Primary candidates for Sauk County Sheriff who seek to replace the retiring Chip Meister. There are five total candidates running as Republicans, and we invite you to check out their respective credentials. It's great to see engaged and involved voters for a cause in which they believe.

We need to channel that same enthusiasm around Tom Tiffany for Governor, Eric Toney for Attorney General, Julie Helmer and Tony Kurtz for their respective Assembly seats and more!

The difference in this election is your involvement! It's up to you to find a way to get involved, and talk to whomever is in your sphere. That's what will make the difference in November!

It's not solely the responsibility of the Sauk County Republican Party, the State GOP, or whomever. If you know the folks who have these signs - reach out to them! We know they can be approached for involvement! We need to adorn Highway 12 and other roads with signs and energy to put our State government into the hands of common sense conservatives who will best move the state in the words of its motto: "Forward"

Fellow Republicans and Concerned Homeowners,

I know many of you may not not live in Karen DeSanto’s district, but the subject of this event affects homeowners throughout Wisconsin.

There will be a public event at the Baraboo Library on Wednesday, May 6, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM regarding proposed education spending and property tax changes.

I hope all who are concerned about rising property taxes will attend as well.

Before going, I strongly encourage everyone to review the information below and come prepared with questions and facts.

Karen DeSanto promoting the event:

Attached is a “Reality Check” summary explaining how these proposals could actually affect Wisconsin property taxes.

This article is also important reading before attending:

Property tax calculator and additional information:

This issue goes far beyond one district. It affects taxpayers, homeowners, and families across Wisconsin. Public participation matters, and respectful but firm opposition is important when policies could significantly increase the financial burden on working families and retirees.
