We wanted to take a second to tell all of our providers Happy EMS week. EMT’s and Paramedics are a special kind of people, they drop everything thing they are doing when that pager goes off, whether thats when we are sitting down for dinner, watching our kids play sports or doing an activity, we miss family events and huge life events because we are at the ready to help the public. That’s not counting the countless hours we have to train and do continuing education to keep our licenses. So to all of the EMS providers out there thank you for your dedication and what you do and happy EMS week to you!

On behalf of Sheriff Grossnickle and the dedicated men and women of Sweetwater County Sheriff's Office, we extend our sincerest heartfelt condolences to the military service members and civilians murdered by terrorists in Afghanistan yesterday. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims' friends and families, and we are especially devastated to learn that among the victims was one of Wyoming's very own, Rylee McCollum, a Marine from Bondurant, Wyoming. Thank you for your service and sacrifice. May God rest your souls in peace. We will never forget.
