🔥 HOT, DRY & SMOKY CONDITIONS CONTINUE🔥

Another hot and smoky day is expected across western and central Wyoming.

⚠️ Critical fire weather is likely across southern Wyoming, with elevated fire weather conditions elsewhere. Similar conditions are expected to continue through the weekend.

🚨 Sweetwater County remains under Stage 1 Fire Restrictions🚨

That means now is the time to be especially careful with anything that could start a wildfire.

If you are recreating outdoors:

• Know and follow the current fire restrictions.
• Make sure campfires are completely extinguished and cold to the touch.
• Avoid activities that could create sparks or open flames.
• Check your vehicle, trailer, and equipment for anything that could ignite dry vegetation.

Hot + dry + wind + receptive fuels = rapid fire growth.

Don't be the reason the next smoke column goes up.

🔥Prevent the fire before we have to fight it🔥
